Privacy
Last updated 31 July 2026We hold two kinds of personal data: yours, because you have an account, and your recipients’, because you gave us their addresses to post things to. Here’s what we do with each.
1. Your account data
livery is the data controller for your account: your name, work email, company details, order history and invoices. We use it to run your account, fulfil your orders and meet our legal obligations (like keeping VAT records). We keep it for as long as you have an account, plus what tax law requires.
2. Recipient data you give us
When you paste in a list of names and home addresses, we process that data on your behalf, solely to print, pack and deliver that order. We don’t contact your recipients, market to them, or use their details for anything else. Recipient data is deleted 12 months after the order, unless you delete it from your dashboard sooner. Making sure you’re allowed to give us those addresses is your responsibility.
3. Marketing
We don’t send marketing without your consent. Order emails such as proofs, dispatch notes and tracking aren’t marketing; you get those because you ordered.
4. Who else touches the data
Three kinds of processor handle data for us: our payment provider (card details never touch our servers), our email provider (order and account emails) and our hosting provider (where the service runs). Each is bound by a data processing agreement, and we’ll give you the current list of named providers on request.
5. Your rights and how to reach us
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or delete it, and complain to the ICO if you think we’ve got something wrong. For any of that, email hello@livery.press. A person reads it.
